Software Engineer - FreeWheel

Salary: $63,000 - 94,500 per year Requirements: Strong programming experience with Go (Golang), Python, and Linux shell scripting Experience with CI/CD systems and automated software deployment Experience with test automation and regression testing environments Experience developing or supporting internal engineering and developer productivity tools Familiarity with Linux-based development environments Skills in C++ programming, Linux, and collaboration A bachelors degree is preferred; we may also consider a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience 5–7 years of relevant work experience Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate software solutions that support business needs Analyze system requirements and customize applications to ensure they function effectively Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, regression testing environments, and internal engineering tools that support software delivery and developer productivity Assist with updates to existing applications and the rollout of software releases Mentor junior engineers and encourage technical excellence and knowledge sharing Work with Quality Assurance to verify software against technical specifications and deliver reliable, high-quality applications Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in software applications and systems Use market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and improve product offerings Train operational staff to use internally developed applications effectively Exercise independent judgment and discretion on significant matters Maintain regular, punctual attendance and work nights, weekends, or variable schedules as needed Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned Follow our Operating Principles, prioritize customer experience, learn and advocate for our technology and services, collaborate as a team, contribute to customer feedback efforts, drive results, support inclusion, and act in the best interests of colleagues, customers, investors, and communities Technologies: CI/CD Golang Support Linux Python GameDev More: We are Comcast, working with hackajob to connect exceptional professionals with this opportunity at FreeWheel, a Comcast company.
