Software Engineer - Energy Trading

📋 Description Data integration for European power markets: pipelines from EEX, EPEX, Nord Pool, TSOs. Trading connectivity & automation: market connectors, workflows, scheduling tools. Strategy execution systems: production for day-ahead, intraday, imbalance markets. Engineering for reliability: clean architecture, robust data handling, fault tolerance. Regulatory readiness: REMIT standards and MiFID compliance — no prior exp needed. Continuous improvement: define practices, observability, deployment standards. 🎯 Requirements Senior engineering experience (5+ years) building production systems. Strong foundation in data modeling, pipelines, and backend systems. Builder mindset: greenfield, fast, high quality. Clear communicator, adaptable and collaborative. Bonus: energy trading experience; familiarity with EEX, EPEX, Nord Pool, or TSO data. 🎁 Benefits Competitive, above-market compensation based on expertise and residency.
