Software Engineer, Backend - Organization Services

📋 Description Build, test, and maintain backend services and APIs in Kotlin and Java. Contribute to core platform capabilities: org models, account lifecycles, access control. Implement service changes across API updates, migrations, tests, deployments, and observability. Partner with senior engineers to design solutions for moderately complex backend problems. Collaborate with platform/product teams to integrate auth, storage, billing, and shared systems. Debug production issues across distributed services, MySQL/Vitess, and customer flows. 🎯 Requirements 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production software. Experience with Java or Kotlin in production environments. Experience building APIs or service interfaces with versioning and rollout concepts. Working knowledge of distributed systems, service-to-service communication, retries, observability. Experience with relational databases, schema design, queries, transactions, and migrations.
