Software Engineer

Salary: $84,500 - 112,500 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. 2+ years of software development experience, or equivalent proven capability. Strong practical experience with Java and the Spring Framework / Spring Boot. Experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs. Experience creating front-end applications with Angular. Experience working with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development concepts. Experience with SQL, JSON, and contemporary application integration patterns. Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development. Experience with software testing approaches, including unit and integration testing. Working knowledge of Agile delivery methods and modern software release practices. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performing, and reliable full-stack applications. Build and enhance microservices-based architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Create modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. Work closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers to deliver strong software solutions. Produce clear, concise, and reusable API interfaces along with supporting technical documentation. Take part in system design, refinement sessions, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. Write high-quality unit and integration tests to improve code reliability, maintainability, and performance. Investigate production issues, determine root causes, and implement lasting fixes to strengthen system stability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to support efficient and dependable software delivery. Follow secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Support and improve existing applications while also contributing to new product development. Assess and suggest new tools, frameworks, and approaches to enhance engineering productivity and product quality. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
