Learn more at www.turing.com Senior Software Engineer Location: Bangalore, India · In-office · Hybrid Experience: 6–8 years About the Role We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own significant pieces of our product and platform end-to-end. You'll lead the design and delivery of complex systems, raise the engineering bar through reviews and mentorship, and partner across functions to ship reliable software at scale. This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who combines strong distributed-systems depth with sound design judgment and an AI-forward mindset. What You'll Do Own end-to-end delivery of features and services — from design through production operation. Design scalable, reliable distributed systems and drive key technical decisions. Debug and resolve production issues; improve reliability and performance. Raise code quality and design standards through thorough, constructive reviews. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other teams. What We're Looking For 6–8 years of software engineering experience, ideally at scalable product companies. Proven ownership: end-to-end delivery, production debugging, and mentoring more junior engineers. Strong distributed systems and cloud engineering skills (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Solid code quality, testing, and design practices. A track record with measurable scale, reliability improvements, and architecture participation. Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication. A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering field is preferred but not required — we weight work outcomes most heavily. Nice to Have Microservices / platform engineering experience. AI/LLM platform integrations. We are an equal-opportunity employer.
