Software Development Engineer in Test

Salary: $121,000 - 161,000 per year Requirements: We expect 3+ years of experience in a fast-moving, small-team environment. Strong knowledge of web technologies and experience testing web APIs and REST services is required. Experience automating complex end-to-end system integrations is required. Experience integrating Selenium regression scripts with CI servers such as Jenkins is required. Experience testing hosted or cloud-based SaaS web applications is highly desirable. Experience testing native mobile applications is desirable. A bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Responsibilities: We own the software QA process, including creating, implementing, and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. We analyze requirements and design specifications to develop effective test cases. We recommend automation strategies, tools, and frameworks. We build test infrastructure and custom automation tools to expand coverage and support non-functional testing. We perform both manual and automated testing for our website and applications. We prioritize test execution based on risk and need. We identify, document, and report defects with clear, precise reproduction steps. We support developers in investigating defects and recommending system improvements. We take ownership of testing across multiple applications built on a range of tools and technologies. We conduct hands-on testing, including requirements analysis, test planning, and test case creation. We support and execute functional and non-functional testing to help ensure software is production-ready. We coordinate with technology groups across sites to plan and execute end-to-end testing. We drive test automation efforts, including planning, scripting, and oversight of automation work.
