📋 Description Design, develop, and operate production-grade Java microservices using Java 21 or higher and Spring Partner with a core group of internal SMEs and an external vendor to decompose legacy Java and SQL Serve as one of the long-term owners of the resulting domain service(s) once the vendor engagement Bring fresh, modern engineering perspective to legacy code and processes, challenging established Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and API-first design practices. Implement event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus or comparable messaging platforms. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience Strong experience with Java 21 or higher and modern Java development practices. Strong hands-on experience using AI-assisted software engineering tools or coding agents Strong hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and REST API development.
