About this position: We’re looking for a motivated Software Development Co-op who’s excited to build modern web applications, experiment with agentic development patterns, and work with real‑world creator‑economy data. You’ll collaborate with our engineering team to build React front‑end features, integrate Node/NestJS backend services, and help us classify and understand social media creators using model‑driven inference. This co-op is ideal for students who have built meaningful projects, enjoy learning new technologies quickly, and want hands‑on experience with production‑grade systems. What You’ll Work On Build responsive, component‑driven React front‑end features using modern tooling. Develop and maintain backend endpoints using Node.js and NestJS. Integrate with first- and third‑party APIs (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) to fetch, normalize, and aggregate data. Implement state management and data‑fetching patterns using ReactQuery/TanStack Query. Use agentic development practices to design workflows that call models or tools autonomously. Work with ML‑powered inference to classify data. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and iterative product development. What You Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Coursework or project experience with JavaScript/TypeScript. Hands‑on experience building React applications (class projects, personal projects, hackathons, etc.). Familiarity with Node.js; experience with NestJS is a plus but not required. Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming. Experience using ReactQuery/TanStack Query or similar data‑fetching/state tools. Comfort working with external APIs and handling varied data formats. Curiosity about agentic development, LLM‑powered workflows, or tool‑calling patterns. Interest in applying models for classification, tagging, or inference tasks. Nice-to-Have Exposure to social media APIs or creator‑economy tools. Experience with TypeScript end‑to‑end (React + Node). Familiarity with prompt engineering or model‑driven automation. Understanding of basic ML concepts (classification, embeddings, etc.). Experience building dashboards or data‑rich UI components. What You’ll Gain Real-world experience building production features with modern frameworks. Mentorship from engineers working on distributed systems, data pipelines, and agentic workflows. Exposure to the creator economy, social API ecosystems, and model‑driven classification. A portfolio of shipped features and measurable impact.
