Salary: $200000 - 212000 per year Requirements: We require a High School diploma with 10 years of experience, or equivalent commensurate experience. We require an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. We require IAT II certification. We prefer expert-level ability to read and write PL/SQL code. We prefer strong familiarity with the NCIS Case Management System application. We prefer experience working on Department of the Navy networks. Responsibilities: We design, code, test, and maintain software applications and systems in support of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. We build applications and modules using languages such as PL/SQL, C++, Visual Basic, ABAP, Java, and related tools. We deliver patches and upgrades to existing systems. We participate in system planning and development deployment while ensuring software compliance standards are met. We may design graphical user interfaces to address user needs. We prepare operating instructions and document program development. We analyze system capabilities, program intent, output requirements, data acquisition needs, programming methods, and control mechanisms to resolve issues. We may develop add-on modules using application program languages. We design and code applications according to specifications using the appropriate tools. We maintain and update existing software applications. We evaluate system inputs and outputs, information flow, hardware and software needs, and alternative problem-solving approaches. We perform modifications and ongoing maintenance of operational programs and procedures. We contribute to code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and specifications. We write or revise program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in line with required standards.
