About the role:
In this role, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, creating digital solutions that support the IKEA range and help make products available to customers and co-workers around the world. You will collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, contribute to modern engineering practices, and help build reliable, accessible, and scalable solutions.
What we are looking for :
We believe great software engineering comes from a mix of technical skill, curiosity, and collaboration. You do not need to match every requirement, but the following experience will help you succeed in this role:
-Experience across the full stack, from building intuitive front-end interfaces to developing robust back-end services.
-Proficiency in modern technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, and .NET.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure, and an understanding of cloud-native development.
-Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle SQL, and PostgreSQL.
-A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, such as Docker, and software development best practices.
-A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across disciplines in a diverse team environment.
-Previous experience at IKEA is a plus, but not required. We value fresh perspectives just as much as familiarity.
