These services are considered part of The ProSidian Transport & Logistics Sector Group with overall focus being Transport & Logistics (TLT) Sector Group: Solutions To Move Transport & Logistics Strategy Forward. for clients such as National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). JOB OVERVIEW ProSidian, an innovative management and consulting firm, is seeking a creative and skilled Software Applications Developer to drive the technological facet of a pioneering initiative centered around comprehending drivers' attitudes and behaviors related to alcohol and non-alcohol drug use. The Software Applications Developer will be instrumental in designing, crafting, and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions, including surveys, to enhance the project's efficacy and impact. The Software Applications Developer designs, creates and maintains computer applications and systems, which would include surveys. The Software Applications Developer has up-do-date working knowledge of commercial off- the-shelf (COTS) software and relational database software (e.g., SQL Server), and has experience in creating visually appealing and intuitive applications. The Software Applications Developer may design new software programs or applications and is responsible for testing software to ensure there are no problems and debugging programs when problems arise. As part of a collaborative venture with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), we are seeking a seasoned and adept team member to work on a comprehensive survey project aimed at enhancing road safety and reducing the risks associated with impaired driving. This unique opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in a research initiative that aligns with our mission to create impactful change. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Conceptualize, design, and construct computer applications and systems tailored to the project's requirements, encompassing dynamic surveys. Demonstrate proficiency in modern software technologies and relational database software (e.g., SQL Server) to develop intuitive, visually appealing applications. Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software systems. Thoroughly test and debug software applications to identify and address any potential issues. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the project's digital components, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Desired Qualifications For Software Applications Developer | Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant Candidates: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field. Demonstrated mastery of programming languages and software development methodologies, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software. Proven experience in creating user-friendly applications and systems, with an emphasis on surveys. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to troubleshoot technical challenges.
