SOC SIEM Integration and Onboarding Analyst

Job Summary The SOC SIEM Integration and Onboarding Analyst is responsible for the onboarding, validation, and monitoring of enterprise assets within the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. This role ensures that servers, network devices, and security appliances are properly integrated, actively reporting security events, and configured to provide complete monitoring visibility for the Security Operations Center (SOC). The position works closely with infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, and asset owner teams to support log integration, troubleshooting, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities SIEM Asset Onboarding and Integration Onboard servers, network devices, security appliances, and other assets into the SOC SIEM platform. Configure and validate log forwarding mechanisms, Syslog settings, and security agent deployments. Support asset custodians and technical teams during SIEM integration activities. Validation and Monitoring Validate device connectivity, event ingestion, and log collection to ensure assets are successfully reporting to the SIEM platform. Perform real-time log validation and analysis to confirm monitoring effectiveness. Monitor enrolled assets and ensure continuous log visibility and reporting. Troubleshooting and Support Investigate and resolve SIEM enrollment, connectivity, and log ingestion issues. Identify security logging gaps and configuration issues that may impact monitoring coverage. Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams to resolve onboarding and operational issues. Provide technical guidance on Syslog configuration, log forwarding, and security agent installation. Ticket and Stakeholder Management Manage SOC onboarding, validation, and migration requests through the ticketing system. Coordinate activities and required actions with internal stakeholders and asset owners. Track progress and ensure timely completion of onboarding and validation activities. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of onboarded assets and validation results. Prepare status reports and updates related to SOC enrollment, asset validation, and migration initiatives. Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and onboarding guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. Experience with Syslog, log forwarding, security monitoring, and event management. Understanding of server, network, and security appliance architectures. Familiarity with cybersecurity operations and SOC processes. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience working with ticketing and service management systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple onboarding and validation activities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise SIEM solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or similar platforms. Knowledge of Windows, Linux, network devices, and security appliances. Understanding of log management, security events, and threat monitoring concepts.
