Position : Smart Card / Security Software Engineer with Test Automation Experience Work set-up : Remote Type : Full time We are looking for an engineer to support the development of test automation tools for digital identity and document verification systems. This role involves smart card communication, APDU command-response flows, ePassport/eMRTD technologies, RFID/NFC interfaces, Android device or emulator control, automated test execution, result validation, reporting, and technical documentation. This is not a standard mobile app development role. We are looking for hands-on project experience, not purely academic or theoretical knowledge. Key skills: Smart Cards / ISO 7816 APDU communication ePassport / eMRTD technologies RFID / NFC / ISO 14443 BAC, PACE, Passive Authentication, Chip Authentication, Active Authentication Android debugging, ADB, or Android emulator automation Automated testing frameworks or test suite development Security testing or evaluation tools Nice to have: Experience with ePassport or document verification standards Digital identity or document verification experience German language skills Prequalification Requirement Relevant project references are mandatory for this role.
