ServiceNow Architect

Salary: $68,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements: At least 8 years of ServiceNow experience, including substantial work in architecture or technical leadership. Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. Deep knowledge of ITSM and familiarity with ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, CSM, HRSD, or SecOps. Strong ServiceNow scripting skills, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies. Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and third-party integrations. Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Experience with ServiceNow governance, architecture standards, security, performance optimization, and platform best practices. Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications; CTA or CMA certification is a plus. Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow HAM, SAM, SecOps, ITOM, CSM, or HRSD. Preferred: Experience with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and automated deployment practices. Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performing ServiceNow solutions that meet business and technical needs. Establish ServiceNow architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and best practices. Lead implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and platform modernization initiatives. Work with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and technical teams to turn requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow developers and administrators. Design and oversee integrations with enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services. Develop and maintain data models, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and scripting standards. Provide architecture and technical guidance across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, and CMDB as needed. Design and maintain the CMDB, including CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and configuration item relationships. Ensure solutions meet security, governance, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards. Assess new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend improvements to existing solutions. Lead technical reviews, architecture assessments, code reviews, and solution design sessions. Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and implementation plans. Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, performance, and configuration issues. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application development, and enterprise architecture teams. Support upgrades, release management, testing, deployment, and production support.
