Senior UX Designer

Salary: $120,640 - 141,440 per year Requirements: At least 6 years of UX or product design experience, with demonstrated strength creating patient- and provider-facing experiences in healthcare, diabetes care, or other regulated product environments Portfolio showing an end-to-end UX design process, including clinical problem framing, workflow mapping, data visualization, interaction design, usability testing, and design rationale Experience designing responsive web and mobile app experiences, with familiarity with iOS, Android, accessibility, and platform design patterns Advanced experience designing for web and native mobile applications Ability to turn abstract ideas into tangible, engaging user experiences Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex design concepts, tradeoffs, and decisions to varied audiences Experience with companion experiences for sensors, wearables, connected devices, or data-rich health products is strongly preferred Prior experience as a Senior or Lead UX Designer delivering complex digital health, medical device, or clinical software products is desirable Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, or a related field is desirable Proficiency with modern design, prototyping, and collaboration tools, including Figma, is desirable Familiarity with design systems and AI-enabled design workflows is desirable Experience with regulated medical device software, prescription digital health products, Human Factors or usability engineering, WCAG accessibility guidelines, and healthcare onboarding is desirable Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees Responsibilities: Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape long-term strategy and short-term plans for products and services Help set the vision for product appearance, feel, and interactions, and communicate it across the company Advance new design ideas and own work that affects the broader product portfolio Advocate for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by understanding their experiences and improving how they use products and internal tools Strengthen design culture and contribute to the growth of teams, departments, and the company Lead presentations for cross-functional teams and management Design experiences that help patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers access, navigate, and find support within the product ecosystem Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Affairs, User Research, and Human Factors from concept through approvals and delivery Technologies: AI Android Figma Support Mobile Network Web iOS UX UI Design REST More: We are recruiting a Senior UX Designer for a remote, 2+ month W-2 contract with a global medical technology company located in San Diego, California.
