Senior System Security Analyst

Salary: $70,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements: We require five years of relevant certification and accreditation (C&A) experience, including MF and NIST C&A experience. We require experience in DoD cybersecurity and familiarity with DoD authorization processes, policies, procedures, and practices. We require the ability to understand and apply NIST 800-53 security controls when assessing and authorizing DLA ESS and EKC systems. We require one of the following certifications: CGRC/CAP, CASP+, CCSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, CISM, CISSO, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, CISSP-ISSMP, or CISSP. We require U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). Responsibilities: We rely on you to serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert supporting assessments and authorization of ESS and EKC systems. You will design, develop, and implement cybersecurity measures and prepare comprehensive assessment documentation. You will assess and document security control selection and implementation, evaluate vulnerability severity and potential effects on authorization status, and support system-wide common controls. You will work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager on complex system details and monitor communications across internal subsystem boundaries. You will lead development, integration, and testing to deliver production-ready systems that meet business needs and project schedules. You will partner with product management to translate business requirements into technical solutions, architecture, effort estimates, and schedules. You will design system architecture and establish practices that promote efficient operations and reduce rework. You will support Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) processes, prepare required cybersecurity documentation, maintain DoD STIG compliance, and participate in STIG reviews, cyber assessments, and continuous monitoring. This is a part-time, on-site role located OCONUS, with day-shift hours Monday through Friday; evening or weekend work may be needed to meet program and contract needs. The role involves travel of approximately 10–20%.
