Senior Staff Software Engineer, Payments

📋 Description Define and drive multi-quarter Payments strategy (rails, orchestration, transfers) for growth. Architect core Payments platform (rails, routing, funds-flow) for high availability and low latency. Lead end-to-end design and rollout of cross-team initiatives (rails, migrations, resiliency). Set and enforce technical standards for financial correctness (idempotency, reconciliation, auditability). Partner with FinHub, Payments Risk, Regulatory Platform, and Product on risk, compliance, and UX. Provide deep mentorship to senior engineers across Payments pods to raise design quality. 🎯 Requirements 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production. Deep money-movement experience (PSPs, ISO 20022, routing, double-entry). Backend programming in Python, Go, Java and cloud-native architecture. Proven track record designing highly available, high-performance systems. Ability to anticipate scaling bottlenecks and take proactive measures.
