Senior Solutions Engineer

Salary: $94000 - 132000 per year Requirements: Comprehensive knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) engineering, including restoration practices and standards development. Proven experience in designing and implementing long-haul and metro fiber networks, including splicing and construction of Points of Presence (POPs). Familiarity with requirements set by hyperscalers, including route diversity and network security compliance. Proficiency in interpreting and creating AutoCAD designs, GIS/GDB files, and as-built documentation. Understanding of the project lifecycle from permitting to acceptance for extensive fiber projects. Excellent communication skills for making client presentations and engaging in negotiations. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical consultant and solution architect for key accounts needing extensive data transport and infrastructure solutions. Create detailed designs for long-haul and metro fiber solutions, covering ILA builds and diverse routing paths. Lead the technical aspects of RFP/RFI processes, proposals, and strategic planning meetings. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to validate feasibility and cost estimates. Maintain expertise in OSP/ISP standards and new technologies in hyperscale connectivity. Work on planning and executing the build and deployment for ILA sites and fiber path diversity. Produce technical documentation, including design diagrams and equipment specifications. Provide training and thought leadership to sales and engineering teams regarding trends in long-haul infrastructure. Willingness to travel up to 20% as required for this position.
