Senior Software Quality Engineer

Project info: For our client we’re looking for a talented and motivated Senior Software Quality Engineer. The airline retailing and merchandising platform that enables airlines to create personalized offers and dynamic pricing for customers. Team is responsible to deliver modern, omni-channel, real-time retailing shopping experience. Provide reduced cost through consolidation of common components including consolidation of offer management system. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical and operationally complex high-performance product that also interacts with several of mission critical products. That will help the selected candidate to work on high-performing products as well expose opportunity to other products and enable the candidate to grow in their career. Responsibilities: Creates and maintains test plans (functional, regression, and integration) Designs, implements, and maintains test cases with full traceability to requirements and story cards Develops and maintains automated regression test suites Utilizes AIassisted testing tools to accelerate test design, improve coverage, and identify edge cases Executes functional, regression, and nonfunctional testing Identifies defects, documents findings, and collaborates with the scrum team on resolution Accountable for overall product quality across functional, regression, and integration testing Actively promotes collaboration and quality mindset within the scrum team Provides input into release milestones and readiness assessments Coordinates test planning and execution across multiple environments Produces and communicates quality metrics and risk assessments Attends and contributes to scrum ceremonies Updates testing status in Rally on a daily basis Collaborates with Software Engineers to ensure appropriate test coverage for all new or changed functionality Participates in estimation and sizing activities Engages early in solution design discussions to influence testability and quality Job requirements: 4-6 years of professional experience in software testing or quality engineering Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and quality metrics Programming skills in Java Automation tools & frameworks: hands-on experience with tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, or equivalent testing frameworks Experience using AIassisted testing and quality tools, such as: AIsupported test case generation, Intelligent defect analysis and triage assistance, AIassisted exploratory testing and edgecase identification Ability to balance AIgenerated insights with engineering judgment and riskbased testing decisions AIdriven test development with ownership: effective use of AI tools to improve test coverage, speed, and insight while retaining accountability for test design, correctness, security, and maintainability Authentication & authorization testing: experience validating functional and edgecase behavior of authN/authZ flows through API and integration tests Crossteam collaboration: effective partnership with Software Engineering, Platform, Security, and SRE teams to promote a share quality mindset Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and platform teams Test automation engineering: programming proficiency in Java for designing and maintaining automated tests Communication: strong English communication skills, written and verbal, suitable for crossgeo and crossfunctional collaboration SDLC & Agile practices: familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and shiftleft testing approaches Systems & tooling awareness: basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and application servers (e.g., Tomcat) Test environment management: ability to configure, validate, and troubleshoot test environments Must possess a legal work permit in Poland Benefits: General benefits - depends on the form of employment Hybrid work model or remote work Attractively located office with collaboration spaces Onsite parking space for employees Referral program with financial bonus Life Insurance Budget for development (including language courses and others), clear career path with the possibility to gain experience in international environment Access to internal Learning Platform with multiple trainings oriented for professional growth Lifestyle benefits: Access to MyBenefit platform (Multisport included) Team Building activities Charity initiatives Working environment promoting diversity and inclusion Health benefits: Private medical care - Platinum Package
