Nimbus Data Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Integrations to join our Engineering team. This engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting the integrations that connect Nimbus Data Systems’s platform with enterprise communications systems, telephony providers, and customer environments. You’ll work on backend services, APIs, and real-time integrations that enable customers to deploy Nimbus Data Systems into mission-critical workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and enterprise customers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging integration problems, working directly with customers, and building software that delivers immediate business impact. What you'll do… Design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations that enable real-time voice and communications workflows Develop backend services and APIs that integrate Nimbus Data Systems’s platform with enterprise customer environments Build and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven services Work directly with enterprise customers and internal teams to implement and support complex technical integrations Collaborate with Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term improvements Improve the scalability, reliability, observability, and performance of integration services Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews Help shape the future of Nimbus Data Systems’s enterprise integration platform Qualifications. 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience Strong professional experience developing production applications in Python Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs Experience building distributed or event-driven systems Experience working with AWS or another major cloud platform Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams, customer-facing teams, and enterprise customers Nice to have. Experience with Go (Golang) Experience with TypeScript Experience building modern web applications using React Experience with SIP, VoIP, or telecommunications technologies Experience integrating with telephony or contact center platforms such as Twilio, Genesys, Amazon Connect, Cisco, RingCentral, Five9, or Zoom Phone Familiarity with WebRTC, RTP, or other real-time communications technologies Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS Experience working on cybersecurity, fraud detection, identity verification, or AI/ML products What success looks like. Within your first six months, you’ll: Deliver production-ready integrations for enterprise customers Become a trusted engineering partner for Solutions Engineering and Customer Success Expand Nimbus Data Systems’s telephony and enterprise integration capabilities Improve the reliability, scalability, and observability of customer-facing services Contribute meaningful improvements to our engineering practices and platform architecture What we offer.
