Senior Software Engineer — Embedded C / Firewall Client

📋 Description Maintain and extend the CFS client in SonicOS across control/data planes. Own the binary UDP protocol between firewall and CFS rating servers. Develop and maintain IPv4 and IPv6 support across code paths. Own firmware upgrade/migration paths; ensure atomic, fail-safe. Improve inter-blade cache synchronization on multi-blade appliances. Collaborate asynchronously with US and India teams on protocol changes. 🎯 Requirements Expert-level C (not C++): memory management, pointers, systems design. Multi-core concurrency in C: locks, atomics, memory ordering. Kernel-level networking: packet flow in dataplane; TCP/UDP processing. Education & Experience: 8+ years; degree preferred.
