Senior Software Engineer

Salary: $186000 - 279000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. We require at least 3 years of experience in a software engineer or developer position. We require 3 years of experience with at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java. We require 3 years of experience architecting large-scale systems built with microservices. We require 3 years of experience in full-stack and web application development. We require 3 years of experience working with relational databases and large datasets. We require 3 years of experience with HTTP servers, caching, and building web services. We require 3 years of experience in systems and network automation. We require 3 years of experience with monitoring and alerting. We require 3 years of experience with message queuing or distributed messaging frameworks. We require 3 years of experience with time-series data storage and analysis. Responsibilities: We will build and enhance our internal tools while helping shape the architecture of an agile framework that can adapt to changing needs. We will design software solutions to automate our operations, working with other teams and internal clients to gather and structure information and requirements. We will support and mentor technical team members and help facilitate team organization. We will architect software to collect, analyze, and visualize large volumes of data. We will identify ways to use technology to solve infrastructure management challenges. We will evaluate technical needs and translate them into architecture decisions. We will preserve strong development practices by maintaining code quality and consistency. We will document software specifications and architectural choices.
