This role is for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of complex features, backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and production applications. You should be comfortable making technical decisions, reviewing tradeoffs, improving existing systems, and guiding work from early requirements through release and long-term maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern web applications, practical backend experience with Python and Java, and the judgment to build systems that are secure, maintainable, scalable, and useful in the real world.
