Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description Reduce latency and cost of retrieval system; speed up AI features. Improve search result quality and relevance for users. Expand retrieval to query new Asana objects and third-party data. Build and optimize search infrastructure using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch. Contribute to ML-powered features like embeddings-based retrieval. Collaborate across teams in NYC and with Warsaw peers. 🎯 Requirements 6+ years in production codebases for user-facing products (JS/TS or Go/Scala/Python). Excellent cross-timezone collaboration with PM, design, and partners. Strong UX focus; detail oriented and collaborative. Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to learn. Hands-on search engineering with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
