About the role

📋 Description Improve the core Gecko accessibility engine's architecture, stability, and performance. Debug and fix issues in our multi-process, multi-threaded codebase. Debug OS specific issues. Build strong relationships with engineers and leaders on other teams. Collaborate with design/front-end teams to identify and fix accessibility issues. Influence web standards to improve access to new web technology. 🎯 Requirements A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Demonstrated proficiency with C++. Knowledge of web accessibility and ARIA. Knowledge of JavaScript, the web, and web apps. Experience writing and debugging multi-process, multi-threaded code.
