📋 Description Design and implement new features, enhancements, and fixes in Elasticsearch's analytical engine Build data-intensive features and fix bugs, making code easier to understand Research and implement appropriate data structures and algorithms Work with globally distributed team on ES|QL analytics capabilities Collaborate with UI teams and solution teams for user experience and APIs Become an expert in multiple areas of Elasticsearch 🎯 Requirements Strong skills in core Java, including standard library data structures and concurrency constructs Experience with software systems engineering Strong desire to optimize and use efficient data structures and algorithms Ability to work autonomously and guide projects from start to finish Comfortable with collaborative development, giving and receiving feedback Experience with data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or 🎁 Benefits Competitive base salary (typical range $128,300 - $203,000 CAD) Eligible for Elastic's stock program Company-matched RRSP with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings Health coverage for you and your family in many locations Flexible locations and schedules Generous vacation days
