Senior Security Engineer

Salary: $180,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements: Experience with Windows, macOS, or Linux in large-scale distributed systems. Familiarity with Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure. Ability to investigate problems to their root cause and explore security data. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations. Nice to have: Experience with Python, Go, asynchronous message queues, and microservices architecture. Nice to have: Skills designing, deploying, and maintaining RESTful APIs. Responsibilities: Build security-focused technical solutions, with attention to code quality, architecture, performance, reliability, and company-wide engineering standards. Monitor, detect, respond to, and manage security incidents to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems. Drive technical solutions for detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence. Help scale and build a world-class security operations center (SOC). Collaborate with platform teams to solve complex problems and develop impactful solutions. Contribute to projects that help consumers and businesses send and receive money globally.
