Salary: $84,500 - 112,500 per year Requirements: Strong knowledge of C# or another object-oriented programming language Strong understanding of software architecture, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and design principles Strong understanding of system architecture, such as microservices, containers, multiprocess applications, and APIs At least 4 years of experience in the software industry, including software quality test automation At least 4 years of professional software development experience with front-end and back-end applications A degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar technical field is preferred Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, automation testing, databases, networking, web services, and UI applications Strong knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar issue-tracking tools Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical concepts Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated tests for software used by insurance market and restoration professionals Support the development and execution of automated tests and, occasionally, manual tests Design, create, maintain, and document test plans, test cases, and test reports Work with junior test engineers to develop estimates and report status to management Expand, improve, and innovate on existing automation frameworks Review test reports, investigate results, and summarize findings for stakeholders Review other automation engineers code, participate in paired programming, and provide mentoring as needed Research and develop strategies to optimize application test coverage Complete assigned job responsibilities and other duties as needed Technologies: Azure C# CI/CD DevOps Support JIRA Web microservices UX UI Design Cloud More: We are Verisk, collaborating with hackajob to connect with professionals for this role.
