Senior Satellite Systems Designer - Payload Lead (Contingent)

📋 Description Lead payload management across missions with multiple providers. Serve as the primary technical interface with payload suppliers, customers, and teams. Define and manage payload interfaces across mechanical, electrical, RF, data, and software domains. Drive mission analysis for the integrated payload suite and timelines. Translate payload concepts into system-level power, thermal, data, and timing constraints. Work with AIT, V&V, flight software, avionics, and program teams to verify payloads. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Systems/Aerospace/Electrical Eng, Physics, or related field. 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, spacecraft/payload engineering, or technical leadership. Hands-on payload-level integration, verification, or operations planning. Experience with optical, RF, SIGINT, radar, or sensor payload domains. Strong understanding of payload-to-spacecraft interfaces (mechanical, electrical, RF, data, software).
