Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to support global SAP transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of scalable, high-quality SAP solutions in modern S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on ABAP development experience with SAP HANA 7.4+ coding standards and a solid understanding of SAP Clean Core principles. You will work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust and future-ready SAP solutions aligned with best practices. What you will be doing: Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA environments Develop scalable and efficient custom developments following ABAP 7.4+ coding standards and SAP Clean Core principles Build and optimize solutions using RAP, CDS Views, OData services, APIs, and SAP BTP technologies Perform code optimization and performance tuning on SAP HANA databases Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Participate in technical design discussions, testing, deployments, and support activities Conduct code reviews and support junior consultants within agile project environments Qualifications 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience Strong expertise in ABAP 7.4+ syntax and development standards Hands-on experience with SAP HANA optimized development, CDS Views, RAP framework, AMDP, and OData services Experience developing solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Solid understanding of SAP Clean Core concept and extensibility approaches Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environments Experience with performance optimization and SQL tuning on HANA Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and APIs Familiarity with object-oriented ABAP programming Experience working with Git/version control and transport management processes Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently in international project environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent English Company Description Transforming Life Science Consulting Worldwide.
