Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer who will own the architecture, performance, and delivery of high-quality mobile applications across Android and iOS. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in React Native, TypeScript, native integrations, performance optimization, and CI/CD, and will play a key role in mentoring team members and driving engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Own and define React Native application architecture, including navigation, state management, data flow, local storage, and error handling.
Establish and enforce engineering standards such as TypeScript usage, linting, testing, formatting, and commit conventions.
Drive native integration strategy using Bridges, TurboModules, and JSI while minimizing native code.
Set, monitor, and optimize performance budgets (TTI, bundle size, memory usage, jank) using profiling and debugging tools.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, build automation, code signing, environment flavors, and OTA updates (CodePush).
Implement observability practices including crash reporting, logging, analytics, feature flags, and A/B testing.
Participate in architecture reviews, RFC discussions, and technical decision-making.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile engineering practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–5 years of hands-on experience in React Native delivering production-ready Android and iOS applications.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Deep understanding of React Hooks, functional components, and rendering lifecycle.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
Expertise in React Navigation, deep linking, and screen lifecycle management.
Strong knowledge of performance optimization and debugging techniques.
Experience working with native modules and understanding of Android and iOS build systems.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and mobile release processes.
Familiarity with testing frameworks, crash monitoring tools, and analytics platforms.
