Senior QA Engineer (Manual/Automation)

Salary: $71000 - 98000 per year Requirements: We want a strong software testing professional with 5 to 7 years of experience, ideally across websites and/or mobile applications. We need someone with at least 5 years in QA who can independently manage the full testing lifecycle. We look for solid manual and feature testing experience, paired with hands-on automation across UI, API, and database layers. We expect experience building new test frameworks and maintaining test automation solutions that reduce manual effort. We need practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and GitLab for integration and test-cycle acceleration. We value experience estimating, planning, and coordinating QA work in a Scrum or Agile environment. We require strong JavaScript automation scripting skills and familiarity with tools such as Playwright. We want proven ability to work with SQL queries and perform database testing. We look for strong ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and a focus on end-user quality and usability. We prefer candidates with a BE/BTech, ME/MTech, or MCA degree. Nice-to-have experience includes JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, Cucumber, Appium, Postman, AI-driven testing, DR testing, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and test management tools such as Xray or AIO. Responsibilities: We design test plans and strategies, then ensure test case development and execution align with project goals and QA standards. We lead functional testing for new requirements and application enhancements. We maintain regression suites and drive test execution across releases. We identify, log, prioritize, and track defects, partnering closely with technical teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively. We oversee the quality, reliability, and performance of products through functional and non-functional testing, including performance, database, and API validation. We deliver against Quality Engineering objectives and commitments. We provide clear reporting, status updates, metrics, and risk assessments to support timely delivery of high-quality outcomes. We apply best practices, test protocols, tools, and measurement techniques to strengthen test effectiveness. We drive innovation by introducing modern technologies into our test architecture to improve efficiency and performance. We coordinate QA efforts in Agile and Scrum environments, including estimation, prioritization, and planning.
