Senior QA Automation Engineer – Playwright & AI

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a team working on modern web applications and help further develop and improve automated testing processes. This role is focused on test automation with Playwright , but also requires a strong interest in and practical experience with AI-powered tools to improve the way testing and automation are designed, developed and maintained. Requirements:
What we’re looking for Strong commercial experience in QA / Test Automation Solid hands-on experience with Playwright Strong programming skills in at least one relevant language, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java or Python Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks Good understanding of end-to-end testing and modern QA practices Experience working with CI/CD and automated testing pipelines Ability to analyse complex issues and troubleshoot test failures independently Experience working with AI tools in software development or testing Practical understanding of how AI can be used to improve test creation, maintenance, debugging or other QA activities Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a technical team Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to continuously improve existing solutions Nice to have Experience with API test automation Experience with cloud-based environments Experience with Git and modern CI/CD tooling Knowledge of performance or integration testing Experience experimenting with new AI-powered development and testing tools

Daily tasks: - Design, develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
– Build and improve scalable and reliable test automation frameworks
– Identify opportunities to increase test coverage and improve the efficiency of QA processes
– Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
– Investigate, analyse and troubleshoot test failures
– Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers and other technical stakeholders
– Contribute to improving testing strategies, processes and best practices
– Explore and implement AI tools and AI-assisted approaches to improve test automation and QA workflows
– Evaluate new tools and technologies that can make automated testing faster and more effective
