Senior Platform Engineer I

📋 Description Own the observability, logging and alerting for Kubernetes clusters and critical workloads Build and maintain automation for the lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters: provisioning Own infrastructure cost-optimization workstreams: right-sizing, workload scheduling, and Partner directly with engineering teams to shape infrastructure decisions from design through Identify and root-fix reliability bottlenecks before they become incidents Participate in on-call rotation to swiftly resolve issues related to any disruption to the services 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles, including running Kubernetes in production at Familiarity with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure) Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster autoscaling and workload scheduling systems (Karpenter Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code systems such as Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi, or equivalent Hands-on experience with observability frameworks such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and eBPF Familiarity with GitOps-based delivery and tools such as Argo CD and Kargo 🎁 Benefits Unlimited Paid Time Off Work from anywhere in Canada and USA Health and Dental benefits Up to $1,500 USD/ $2,025 CAD towards IT set up for your home Up to 2% matching RRSP / 401K Learning and Development opportunities
