Job Description: Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines Supply Chain Global Planning are recruiting for a Senior Planner MRP. This position will be located in Switzerland (Schaffhausen) and the successful candidate will report to Senior Manager Site Planning. IMSC Global Planning’s mission is to “Ensure reliable product availability to our patients by applying leading planning processes across the supply chain”. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Planner MRP is responsible for ensuring availability of direct and consumables materials, while improving processes to balance service level, inventory, and cost of materials. They convert the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) outputs into material requirements, ensuring reliable material availability for production. They will lead S&OP meetings with their suppliers, manage supplier order performance, and lead issue resolution of material supply disruptions. The Senior Planner MRP is responsible for building strong supplier and internal relationships with cross-functional partners (e.g., Procurement, Warehousing, Operations, and Quality teams). Develop, maintain, publish and communicate materials requirements plans to ensure that patients and customers requirements are met. Maintain inventory levels within our goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost. Execute site material inventory projections and leads analysis in actuals versus projections drivers. Partner with Global Procurement to drive Supplier performance improvement including quality and timely delivery in line with MPS. Leads S&OP meetings with key suppliers. Tracks and reports site / platform level supplier service performance, communicating the information to the relevant stakeholders and teams. Collaborate with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected / defective materials, making the physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure a timely return of goods or disposal. Owns driving process adherence and execution of material master data updates to ensure accurate master data of material portfolio. Supports continuous improvement and digital journey of the Material Planning process. Drive improvement on key MRP metrics including, not limited to – Supplier OTIF, Reliability and transactional metrics, Inventory and SLOB targets Supports material and component life cycle management. Qualifications Education: Supports material and component life cycle management. Experience: 4+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience (including manufacturing, logistics, planning) is required. Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Biopharmaceutical industry required with basic understanding of drug product filling and packaging operations. Experience working with external (local and international) partners (suppliers, authorities, etc.) preferred. Knowledge, Skills and capabilities: Experience working with external (local and international) partners (suppliers, authorities, etc.) preferred. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to translate insights into actionable decisions. Ability to lead multiple initiatives and work in a dynamic environment where priorities change rapidly. Experience working with external (local and international) partners (suppliers, authorities, etc.) preferred. Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and build strong collaborative relationships with people from different departments and all levels. SAP and OMP experience is preferred. Supply Chain Certifications (e.g., APICS) and LEAN certifications are preferred.
