As a Senior Oracle Database Architect & Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in delivering cutting-edge data solutions within the IT industry. You will design, implement, and optimize complex Oracle database architectures that support mission-critical systems, driving performance, security, and reliability. Your main responsibilities:
– Collaborate with solution architects to develop robust, scalable database architectures.
– Design and implement complex database structures tailored to project needs.
– Optimize database functionalities and procedures for peak performance.
– Work closely with business and application teams on solution design.
– Enforce technological standards and best practices for database development.
– Resolve key performance issues through query and performance tuning.
– Maintain database security, integrity, and compliance standards.
– Document technical solutions and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
– Manage automated testing procedures for database components.
– Support ongoing maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring of database environments.
– Contribute to the development of best practices and team knowledge sharing initiatives.
– Oversee project documentation and participate in post-implementation reviews.
– Drive continuous improvement and team skill development initiatives.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
– Minimum of 10 years’ experience in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database design.
– Deep expertise in Oracle database optimization, administration, and architecture.
– Experience with XML and JSON transformations within the database environment.
– Proficiency with Git version control tools.
– Knowledge of unit testing procedures, such as utPLSQL.
– Strong responsibility and commitment to timely delivery.
– Experience working effectively within SCRUM teams.
– Familiarity with JIRA software tooling.
It is a strong plus if you have:
– Programming skills in Python.
– Experience managing large-scale IT projects involving advanced database development.
Language Required for the Role:
– Fluent in English and Polish.
