Senior OpenStack Cloud Engineer

About the role We are looking for a Senior OpenStack Cloud Engineer to join a project focused on building, operating, and optimizing services for a large-scale cloud platform. In this role, you will work with Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, automation, and open-source technologies to help deliver a secure, scalable, and highly available environment. Your responsibilities Build, maintain, and optimize OpenStack-based infrastructure. Integrate SDN solutions with OpenStack Neutron. Configure and optimize Open vSwitch (OVS) and OVN. Work with Linux networking and cloud infrastructure components. Automate operational and administrative tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and networking issues. Tech stack OpenStack, Open vSwitch (OVS), OVN, OpenStack Neutron, Linux, Kubernetes, Calico, CNI, Python/Bash/Go/C/C++, VPC, NAT, VPN, BGP, VXLAN, DNS, Load Balancing Requirments Production experience with Open vSwitch (OVS) and OVN. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VPC, NAT, VPN, BGP, VXLAN, load balancing, and DNS. Deep understanding of the Linux networking stack, including namespaces, iptables, tc, and kernel networking subsystems. Experience integrating SDN solutions with OpenStack Neutron. Programming skills in at least one of the following: C/C++, Go, Python, or Bash. Experience with Kubernetes networking and CNI plugins (e.g. Calico). English at B2/C1 level. Nice to have Experience with DPDK. Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work.
