Senior .NET Architect Developer

Salary: $66000 - 86000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience. We need someone with 5–8+ years of experience in software development and/or systems architecture. We require strong expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core, along with C# development. We expect proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio development environments. We require experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server. We need experience with data integration, data movement, or ETL workflows. We value familiarity with legacy environments, including COBOL or mainframe systems. We require experience troubleshooting and supporting development and deployment environments. We need a solid understanding of system integration and distributed systems. We are looking for strong communication and collaboration skills. We prefer experience in federal or highly regulated environments. We prefer familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks or similar tools. We prefer experience with data modeling and database design. We prefer exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar. We prefer a basic understanding of network architecture and system connectivity. We prefer exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics tools. We prefer relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks Data Engineer Certification, or ITIL Foundation. We require an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI. Responsibilities: We will have you support the development and upkeep of .NET/C# applications in a legacy environment using Microsoft Visual Studio. We will have you help establish and stabilize development and production environments, working with stakeholders to resolve setup, configuration, and deployment issues. We will have you design and deliver data movement and integration solutions across legacy systems, databases, and modern platforms. We will have you analyze existing systems, including COBOL or mainframe components, and recommend practical improvements to boost performance, reliability, and maintainability. We will have you support data modeling and ETL processes to maintain consistent and dependable data flow. We will have you collaborate with federal staff, vendors, and internal teams to sustain operations and maintain technical alignment. We will have you contribute to architecture discussions covering connectivity and performance. We will have you assess and apply modern tools and technologies where appropriate to strengthen data processing and analytics capabilities. We will have you look for ways to improve efficiency and scalability within existing system constraints. We will have you support documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuity of operations efforts.
