About the job An Insurtech start-up is looking for a (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer to join their team. Your new role As a (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for: Build automated pipelines that transform raw data into clean, feature-ready datasets. Develop feature engineering and ETL components for machine learning and analytics. Manage pipeline orchestration, balancing reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Maintain machine learning workflows, model monitoring, drift detection, and data quality controls. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate reliable outputs into products. What you’ll need to succeed 7+ years' experience building and scaling production data and machine learning pipelines. Strong expertise in ETL, feature engineering, orchestration, and cloud data platforms. Proficient in Python, Spark, and machine learning frameworks including scikit-learn and XGBoost. Experienced in designing robust data quality, validation, and governance frameworks. Skilled in production monitoring, model performance tracking, and drift detection.
