Senior Loads and Dynamics Engineer

Salary: $95000 - 158000 per year Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications 5 or more years of relevant work experience or a combination of technical education and experience Solid grasp of structural dynamics, including understanding dynamic responses of structures and vibration analysis Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as NASTRAN Responsibilities: Lead the development of air vehicle environments for vibrations, shock, and acoustic noise Collaborate with airframe and subsystem design and analysis engineers to create integrated models for flight vehicle analysis aligned with a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment Conduct analyses for buffet, aeroacoustics, and vibration to support air vehicle design and integrations Establish flight envelopes and operational limits based on analysis and test outcomes Create flight and ground test plans Implement wind tunnel, ground, or flight test programs by developing test requirements, conducting pre-test data analyses, monitoring tests, analyzing data, and documenting results to support design and verification of vehicles and components Review and endorse airframe and subsystem hardware packages to ensure flight worthiness and compliance with service environment Provide onsite support for hardware vendor qualification tests, including troubleshooting and approving modifications to test plans Provide necessary data to define and document structural design requirements for the products service life, ensuring alignment with company, customer, and regulatory standards Present load and dynamic issues to management and clients during program reviews and other technical discussions Technologies: Hardware Support Security Fortran Matlab Python More: At Meridian Softworks, we prioritize innovation and teamwork to enhance global advancement.
