Senior Lead AI Engineer, Gen AI Services

Salary: $244000 - 303000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines, with at least 6 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies; or a Masters degree in the same fields with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 6 years of programming experience using Python, Go, Scala, or Java. 7 years of experience in deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferred). Experience in designing, developing, integrating, delivering, and maintaining complex AI systems. Proven capability to lead and mentor technical teams and influence cross-functional collaborators. Familiarity with developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies such as LLM Inference and Similarity Search. Expertise in employing cutting-edge techniques for optimizing software for training and inference to improve utilization and performance. Keen interest in staying updated on AI research and proficiently applying novel techniques in production environments. Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey complex AI concepts effectively to peers. Responsibilities: Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to create AI-driven products that transform how our associates operate and enhance customer interactions with Solstice Analytics. Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain AI software modules, including model training, large language model inference, similarity search, model evaluation, and governance. Utilize a range of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch. Innovate and apply state-of-the-art optimization techniques to enhance scalability, cost efficiency, latency, and throughput of large-scale production AI systems. Contribute to Solstice Analyticss technical vision and long-term planning for foundational AI systems.
