Senior Java Test Automation Engineer – API and Performance Testing

Join us to propel your career forward in a highly dynamic and innovative environment. Your main responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain automated tests using Java to support CI/CD pipelines. Design and execute API tests (REST/SOAP) with tools such as Gatling and Rest Assured. Collaborate with developers and analysts to plan, execute, and report comprehensive testing strategies. Analyze test results, report bugs, and assist in their resolution to uphold software integrity. Participate in test planning, estimations, and contribute to ongoing process improvements in quality assurance. Share knowledge and promote best practices within the automation team to optimize testing methodologies. Contribute to the creation of quality metrics and initiatives for continuous process enhancement. You're ideal for this role if you have: Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation, with at least 5 years in Java-based automation. Strong expertise in Java development and automation, including REST API testing with tools like Rest Assured and Gatling. Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git. Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying. Proven ability to work effectively within diverse development and testing teams. Proactive problem-solving skills and excellent organizational capabilities. It is a strong plus if you have: Experience with UFT Developer plugin, ISTQB certifications, or other testing tools like Playwright. Background in performance testing, UFT ONE Visual Basic, or API mocking tools such as Swagger and Postman.
