For one of our clients, a company from the healthcare industry, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer.100% remote work – the position is fully remote.Recruitment process – a technical interview followed by a live coding session.About Company: a healthcare app and web platform for nurses in the home-care field, including clinical assessment and follow-up tools, team planning, administration and invoicing.Technical FoundationStrong, demonstrable Java knowledge with confidence in core language features, the collections framework, concurrency, and the standard library. Comfortable working within a large multi-module Maven project built on Java 17 and Spring Boot. Practical experience with:Spring ecosystem (dependency injection, transaction management, event-driven patterns, caching, security)Messaging with JMS / ActiveMQMongoDB and relational persistence (Spring Data)RESTful API design and inter-service communicationHealthcare data standards (FHIR / HAPI FHIR) is a plus but not requiredTesting with JUnit 5 and MockitoMicrosoft Azure cloud services and cloud-native application developmentWhat We’re Looking For Beyond Technical SkillsArchitectural ownershipExperience leading the design of a solution from requirements through to implementation. Designs robust error handling strategies -- thinking about what can fail, how it should fail, and how failures are communicated to the caller and the end user.Cross-functional collaborationExperience working closely with teammates from different disciplines -- frontend, DevOps, product owners, business analysts -- to ensure a solution is complete.
