Senior Java Developer
Lumen Dynamics Inc. is looking for a Senior Java Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a French-based international group of media companies.
It is a long-term project. There are optional night-time deployment sessions every other Wednesday at 10:00 PM. Our working hours are 8 hours and 30 minutes from Monday to Thursday, and 6 hours on Fridays, with the option to work 8 hours from Monday to Friday. You can choose to work remotely or from the office. While remote work is welcome, attendance at the Warsaw office is encouraged 1 to 3 times a week.
REQUIREMENTS
– Minimum of 4 years of development experience using Java 8–25. Strong knowledge of design patterns, multithreading and immutability.
– Knowledge of such frameworks as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, WebFlux), MyBatis, TestContainers.
– Experience with SQL and NoSQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), Confluence, Kafka, and the ability to work with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
– Understanding of software architecture, including microservices, RESTful architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), and SSO (Okta, CAS, IAM).
– Experience with testing tools: Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), integration and acceptance testing (Spock), support for performance testing (JMeter, K6).
– Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools: Git (Bitbucket, GitLab), Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitLab Pipelines.
– High degree of independence, accountability for results and attention to the quality of implementation.
– Understanding of the basic principles of web application security (e.g.
– OWASP).
– Ability to collaborate within a Scrum development team.
– Familiarity with Confluence and Jira.
– Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
– Knowledge of scripting languages in a Linux environment (Python, Bash).
– Understanding of AWS cloud services and technologies, including IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and MSK.
– Expertise in creating technical and user documentation
– Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
– Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze requirements and design solutions.
– High level of English for communication.
NICE TO HAVE
– Knowledge of front-end tools and technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript (frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js).
