Senior Java Core Developer
We are seeking a Senior Java Core Developer to join our FX trading team, responsible for designing robust server-side solutions and driving problem-solving across the full software development lifecycle
Responsibilities
– Take ownership of software design and problem-solving within the FX trading area
– Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and rollout
– Deliver Level 3 support and resolve production issues
– Apply modern best practices to new projects while enhancing legacy code bases
– Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
– Contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing systems and processes
Requirements
– 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development including multi-threaded programming
– Experience in designing and building robust and scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment
– Knowledge of messaging and middleware technologies such as Kafka and Tibco EMS
– Knowledge of frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot and reactive programming paradigms
– Familiarity with Cloud/Azure, Docker and DevOps
– Basic skills in Linux
– Fluent English
