Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $132000 - 174000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. We are seeking 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a similar function, with a strong emphasis on security and vulnerability management. We prefer 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms. We require 5+ years of experience working with operating systems, especially Windows Server environments. We require 5+ years of experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or comparable technologies. We prefer 5+ years of experience with enterprise storage technologies. We require 5+ years of experience with standard enterprise server architecture. We require 5+ years of experience in enterprise identity management. We need strong Windows Server administration expertise. We require experience with vulnerability management and patching solutions such as Qualys, Microsoft Defender, SCCM, or similar tools. We require experience with backup and recovery platforms such as Cohesity or equivalent systems. We prefer familiarity with the Microsoft security stack, including Defender, Sentinel, and Entra ID. We prefer scripting or automation experience, particularly with PowerShell. Responsibilities: We own the vulnerability remediation program and drive timely closure of security issues. We lead server patching and update activities across our infrastructure. We implement hardening standards across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. We support the security posture of Azure and our on-premises compute, storage, and networking platforms. We oversee backup platforms, verify restore readiness, and take part in disaster recovery testing. We help retire legacy environments and move systems toward modern server management practices. We automate system configuration and monitoring to improve operational efficiency. We provide Tier 3 infrastructure support and resolve escalated incidents. We perform complex system analysis, design, and deployment work. We partner with security and leadership teams to address audit findings, risk items, and compliance obligations. We continuously improve our infrastructure security, patching, and vulnerability management processes. We support infrastructure-related incident response efforts.
