Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

PROJECTJoin a global engineering environment focused on building and automating reliable on-prem infrastructure and platform services.You will work on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Linux environments, and OS/DB automation, helping standardise infrastructure delivery and reduce manual operational work. The role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, production support, and reliability, with a strong focus on security and enterprise-grade engineering practices.YOU WILLBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for on-prem infrastructure, including compute, storage, network, OS, and database components.Develop reusable automation modules and templates using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.Automate OS and database provisioning, configuration, patching, hardening, and compliance activitiesDesign and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform automationImplement pipeline controls including approvals, audit trails, secrets management, and change traceability.Work with OS/DB Patching and Platform Engineering teams to automate infrastructure operations and reduce manual work.Create infrastructure monitoring, alerts, and dashboards focused on availability, performance, capacity, and deployment success.Participate in incident management and on-call/rota supportPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement automated fixes to prevent recurring incidentsContribute to code reviews, documentation, runbooks, operating procedures, and continuous improvement of engineering practicesMUST HAVEStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automationHands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management toolsExperience with Terraform or equivalent IaC toolingExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or platform changesStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShellStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of database infrastructure and operational processes such as provisioning, configuration, patching, backup, and restoreExperience with Git, branching strategies, and code review workflowsGood understanding of infrastructure security, including secrets management and least-privilege accessStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood English communication skills and ability to work across engineering and operations teamsNICE TO HAVEExperience with Docker and/or KubernetesExperience with observability tools and SRE practices, including metrics, logs, traces, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgetsExperience with policy-as-code and compliance automationExperience integrating automation with ITSM/change management processesKnowledge of enterprise tooling such as artifact repositories, secrets vaults, and CMDBExperience working in financial services or other regulated environmentsOUR OFFERThe relocation package (4500 PLN total value) is paid in three installments (1500 PLN per month) if your permanent office presence is mandatory and you need to relocate from another city.Benefits: Extended medical care (over 2000 medical facilities in Poland, 80 in Kraków) for you and your family; Multisport card; Life insurance
