Senior Fullstack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior fullstack engineering role at a fast-growing European Voice AI startup, building a platform that automates business phone calls for thousands of SMEs. You will own features end-to-end, from concept to production, with direct input into product direction and a strong emphasis on deep, focused work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
– Own features completely, from idea and prototype through to production code used by thousands of customers across Europe.
– Build and evolve the platform using NestJS and React, shipping updates on a near-daily cadence.
– Engage directly with customers through support, feedback sessions, and user testing to surface real needs.
– Prioritise ruthlessly by breaking features into their highest-value parts, then iterating based on real-world feedback.
– Take on product and opportunity prioritisation for the Voice AI product as you grow into the role.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
– 5+ years of hands-on fullstack engineering experience delivering end-to-end features in SaaS products.
– Strong production experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with NestJS experience strongly preferred.
– Substantial experience across both backend and frontend; frontend-only backgrounds are not a fit for this role.
– Native German proficiency, plus fluent English for team and product communication.
– Experience with product discovery: forming hypotheses, running experiments, and using metrics to make data-driven decisions.
– Comfort with direct customer interaction, including support, feedback collection, and user testing.
– A pragmatic, high-ownership mindset: you cut scope without cutting value and thrive with full end-to-end responsibility.
– Experience integrating LLMs (such as OpenAI) into production applications is a plus.
– Familiarity with GDPR or EU AI Act considerations for AI services is a plus.
– Prior experience in high-velocity startup environments shipping frequently is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: 80,000 to 120,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Fully remote, based in Germany.
