About the role
Develop and manage both frontend and backend components of software applications.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js/JavaScript or TypeScript. Experience with Playwright and/or Puppeteer for browser automation and web scraping. Experience handling anti-bot challenges: proxies, rate limiting, CAPTCHAs. Comfortable shipping at high velocity, multiple Actors per week, with a systems mindset rather than one-off scripts. Experience leading or mentoring 1-2 engineers, comfortable doing code review. Familiarity with Apify's native storage (Dataset, KeyValueStore, RequestQueue).
