About the Team: The OpsTech Team is a critical part of Aperture Cloud’s ChefOS Zone , dedicated to building and optimizing software solutions for Fulfillment, Logistics, and Labor Tracking. This team ensures that orders are efficiently packed, tracked, and delivered with precision, leveraging technology to streamline every step of the process. Our systems directly impact the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of meal delivery, ensuring that customers receive their meals fresh and on time. The role: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our OpsTech Team, directly reporting to the Engineer Manager. Collaborating closely with a Product Manager and a designer, you'll be contributing to the shape of the product strategy, define OKRs, and chart the roadmap. Your responsibilities will extend to maintaining regular communication with senior management and providing updates on status, risk assessment, and the broader product strategy. This position offers an opportunity to drive meaningful impact within our team and organization, contributing your expertise to guide our product's growth and success. This is our current stack: Languages: Typescript, JavaScript, Kotlin. Frameworks: NestJS, NextJS, ReactJS, React Native, Jest, Playwright. Infrastructure: DataDog, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redis. Agile Methodology. Service Oriented Architecture. Responsibilities: Owning the design and implementation of features within our JavaScript stack that engage customers and have a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Iterating on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance. Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development of best practices, and new technologies. Improving the maturity of our technical stack with engineering best practices. Being part of the code review process and helping to mentor other engineers. Contribute technically to projects by being a hands-on coder, removing roadblocks, and repairing technical issues. Partner with members of product, growth, marketing, customer experience, and other teams to refine and improve our product continually in an agile process. Support the on-call rotation to help the business run 24/7 Minimum Requirements: You have at least +5yrs of experience as a Software Engineer, and you can engage with projects in Kotlin, ReactJS, GraphQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL. You have experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, web apps, basically the whole combo! Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and e2e tests. Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures. You understand how to interact with and build backend REST APIs. Familiarity with continuous integration. Advanced level of English Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), data modeling, and query optimization (indexing, execution plan analysis, performance tuning). Fluency with AI engineering tools Preferred requirements: Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes/CI environments. You enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
